I was walking by my truck today and looked down at the hubs and saw this!
only 2 bolts holding my hubs on!!!
So getting off early ended up meaning I got to work on my junk again!
All better now!

Quite a regular ocurance with the bolt on style hubs, one of many reasons when I first built the black CJ that I used the Waggy 44s the frts are the 1/2 ton internal locking hubs that don't come loose.

Something for a bit of an upgrade for ya get some grd 8 studs some stover nuts and some lock tite

I just grabbed the bolts with the lock tabs from my spare diff...I think that was the problem if you look the tabs are broken off on the old bolts:eek: Well I'm just glad I caught it in time![cheers]

That used to happen to my MM hubs that were on my pathy when it was IFS. But it would only happen if i left the hubs in and ran in 2wd. (weird).
Locktite, lock washers, proper torque... nothing worked (too young and stupid to think about the studs and stove nuts. good one mikey!).

I just had to make sure i tightened them after wheeling
