I originally wanted to go with all 1410 size yokes and driveshafts on my truck. I already got one 1410 yoke for the np205 tcase. But i just picked up my second divorced np205 which already has all 1350 yokes on it. That means all I would need to do is buy new 1350 yokes for my diffs and get driveshafts made accordingly. This will be cheaper to run 1350 since i have most of the yokes already. I wil be running 44 boggers , d60 front, sterling 10.25 rear with a 351M eddy intake carb, headers, probably around 160 horsepower. Do I really need 1410 or is 1350 sufficient?

all depends on how you look at it.
the 1410 will last alot longer (provided you maintain it)
but if you already have 1350's and you don't plan on beating the shit out of it, then the 1350's should be ok.

oh i plan on beating the shit out of it, thats what im building it for. But im just wondering if the 1350's are up for the challenge. Rear end is welded and detroit will be installed in the front soon

dustbin threw out 1330's all day on his chev with 44's, but he drives like a fucking lunatic, id spend the money and go 1410, i went 1350 on my b2 on 40's, i dont see a problem but if your buying it all new why not go 1410?

So I guess you don't have any Yokes for me then:D

I would run what ya got just don't beat on it to hard and save for the 1410 stuff, theres no point in fucking around[cheers]

ya i bought 44 inch boggers and i plan on beating the shit out of this thing. i originally wanted to run all 1410.

I've got 6 end yokes in total and at $100 a piece thats $600 right there for end yokes. then i gotta buy all the driveshaft components and u joints (making my own shafts its not rocket science)

I have all the 1330 driveline pieces that need to be retubed so its hard to say no when i got it all in front of me
