So after many weeks, I finally got to the timing chain cover on my 22R, but do you think I can get that pulley bolt off!! I'm in 4High, in 5th gear, with the wheels blocked, and I've used a breaker bar and my Hi-lift handle with no luck. It turns making me wonder if it's slipping at the clutch......time to go buy a chain wrench?

Put it in First Gear. Lower gear the better.

I give up!! Broken sockets, adapters, and bent bars trying to get this flywheel bolt undone....what a fucking joke and what a lot of wasted time.......

if ur talking about the crank pully bolt
take ur coil wire off and then take ur breaker bar and correct soket put it on ur frame then give the key a quick turn...cracks the bolt every time...I tried using a 1000 lbs impact, couldn't get it off..did it that way first time boom it was off

I feel your pain. I tried to get mine off but no luck. Same thing though busted sockets, ratchets, wrenches,, breaker bars, and finally the head just stripped off. The starter thing didn't work for me either. Try to get a high tourque impacted(1000 ft lbs +). I tried with a 800 pounder and still nothin. Well good luck. If you find a way let me know.
