Hello could some 1 please explain to me the steps involved in hooking up a rmp gage

Instructions should have come with the guage.
They are really easy though, but its been a while. I know one wire goes to the coil (my mazda had a line coming off already for the optional gauge included in cluster) then would have a negative power lead, and cant recall if a positive lead as well (run a wire to switched power from fuse pannel, and easy way is pull a fuse for something like the stareo, wrap wire around fused side and put fuse back in, or some fuse pannels have lead spots in them, just need to crimp the appropriate connector and plug it in)
Lastly theres a wire for the light, splice into any dashlight.
But again check the instructions for which wire is which.

mine was black is ground, red was constant power, blue was to coil pos and green was light

power ground and tach signal is all ya need power is switched ignition or accesory ground is chassis ground and tach signal is from the negative side of your coil. If ya got a grounding test light its easy to check for the negative side of the coil will pulse the test light rapidly on and off
