I dunno what size tires will fit but you can run any size rim you want if the bolt holes and center hole are the same.

i wouldn't go bigger then 33 if no lift at all any bigger then that you start loosing articulation and will start to grind when turning and rough rode/trail.
To run 35's i would recommend a body lift. there cheap and relatively easy to install.

you can run 305/70/16 just a bit bigger then a 33

yeah 33 is the biggest you can run without getting fender rubbin but if you buy the leveling kit you can run 35s

not always true My 1500 ran 16's but yours may need that extra half inch to clear bigger brakes.

My 2000 3/4ton had factory 16" rims and now aftermarket 16". I have a 2" leveling kit and am running 35" with a little bit of rub at full turn. I would not wheel it with this setup because it would rub hard with some articulation.

try a 285/75 16,I've put on tons with no rub but 315/75 16 fit on some and not others so I'd say go with the 285's

They put bigger brakes on the later years of that style, but almost all 16's will fit, and I hear even 15" steelies will fit. You can fit 15" aluminum with a little grinding on the caliper but who would actually do that:dontknow:
