well that was a fair bit of work but its done and works perfect :D


started 2 months ago when Rod aka hulk hooked me up with a sweet place to get a 8.8 with 410s and disc brakes [cheers] then from there it was research into what was needed for the install and as it turned out no bloody much:D

after it was done i went for a drive and am happy to say no vibrations and the brakes are amazing .

Wow nice work! Now all you need to do is swap in the rest of that explorer the 8.8 came from and you'll have a fully capable off road vehicle! :D

Jeeze, why so much effort in flipping your Ubolts? Springs should be on TOP of the axle, you could have spent half the time doing that, and get an extra four inches at the same time.

hey eric, what did you use for the brake lines on the 8.8? i am having ahrd time getting the right parts. 3/16 hardline doesn't seem to be right, lordco has some goofy rubber hoses that don't seem right and use banjo bolts. got any pics you can post? thanks for the help mang!

I reused my front caliper flex lines on my 8.8 no prob.
I used 3/16 hard line..i forget the end fitting sizes though.
