I acquired a 95 Dodge 1500 slt 4wd and Im gettin it ready for Postil. The engine was miled out so I put in a 2001 360 Magnum with a highrise and 4 v carb. Has anyone converted from comp to carb here? Just curious. Im new to dodges but love the look of these trucks. Any info on the 4 wheel drive part would be appreciated. Thanks from Creston

why would you revert back to the stone age?

or does it have stone wheels too

It had issues......the new engine is a non egr. The comp was for a egr engine. If this truck has spark and gas......it will run. I do a lot of traveling and any issues with dodge comps always seem to involve tow trucks and expensive repairs. Just my opinion. take care

First thing to do is poke a screwdriver through the check engine soon light!! I dont even care about milage.....this is a toy for mud boggin and havin fun. It runs really smooth with the 4v and smokes the tires off the line......so what more do you need!! And late at night.......I can fix my Dodge!! you will be on a tow truck
