... 2007 Ford Ranger Sport 4x4... gotta say, im pretty damn excited about this cuz every other vehicle ive ever owned was in turn, a piece with 300000kms on it. So i traded in my beloved XJ which they gave me a measley grand for, and im rollin in the new Ranger, aptly named Walker Texas. The only thing is that because im only 18 they couldnt sell it to me or insure it in my name, so my dear old ma signed all the papers...dont worry, its all coming out of my pocket still. so next step is to gift it to my name, cancel the new insurance and then reinsure it in my name yadda yadda so on... here she is the day she rolled off the train...
any tips for a first time ford owner would be super... hope to see ya out there soon.

Buy a circuit breaker for the fuse under the hood that controls the 4 wheel drive actuator. My 02 had a habit of blowing this fuse if the gears were not aligned when it shifted at a stand still. Get the same amperage, self re setting and it might help you out. Ford may have corrected this by 07, but you never know.
