since i changed out my add diff for a non add diff, wondering if it might be okay to weld the front IFS diff up?

I already have warn manual hubs on it, so that will help.

Whatcha think?

In most cases I don't think the CV joints can handle the stress.

not a good idea. cv's are weak, and so is the rign and pinion. I've seens a few break without being welded or wheeled to hard with 33's and 35's

add - automatic diff disconect , where vacume lines turn 4wd off and on somehow. :dontknow:

Can malfunction in rigs with a zillion kms on it sometimes, then people just override it and lock it on all the time and use manual hubs.

maybe an aussie locker would be a good choice? I read a good review of one in an ifs front somewhere once?

thought about an ozzy locker, but need cheap alternatives.

i am running 5.29 gears and 33`s.

definetly not a good idea with 5:29. the pinion is tiny and wont hold up.... but hey its your monmey
