View Full Version : extended center bolts?

I replaced my center bolts, but I noticed the head of the centerbolt actually goes up thru the very bottom leaf. Is that normal? Abby spring in chilliwack was going to give me some spacers to put on my new centerbolts so the head would be long enough to extend down thru the pinion shim into the mount on the axle tube. Do you think I can find them up here in 100 Mile? Not a chance. I found a split bushing that would work for now, but I expect the proper spacers are hardened? I wonder if anyone in Williams Lake would have the spacers? It looks like the heads will extend 3-4 mm down into the mount. :dontknow:

drill out a nut and round of the edges and put it on the bolt before you bolt up your spring pack
