So yeah!! Picked up my new truck in New Jersey and spent the next week driving her across the U.S of A. to where she sits now next to my (hopefully soon to be sold) S-10. Feels nice knowing soon I won't be driving a pavement princess any longer! :D Just waiting on our gov't to mail me the paperwork so I can go get ripped off by a Can-tire inspection. So..... to the Pics:

The First morning in Philadelphia from the hotel

Sears tower dominates Chicago skyline

Wrong detour took us through the southside:vroam: , but seen where the White Sox play

Matt Kenseth's fan building, lots of sweet race rockets here.

Minnesota has the worst highways of any state I touched, bar none. They need to upgrade BIGTIME.

Regular cab S-10 and sonoma ZR2's are already hard enough to find. And now try and find one with manual instead of that awful automatic!! I read somewhere reg. cab and manual trans. were only 3% of the ZR2 build!! EVERY ZR2 is ext. cab(with 2 mile turning radius) like the red one, and auto. transmission, which is fine if you like driving a couch, but with the 4.3??? :D Come on!!! It is a 98, but has 36,000 miles on 'er. The guy had a 'vette and a 2000ish full-size with 180,000 miles in his garage and was moving, had to eliminate one . . . :happy0045: He picked this one.
He put the lift on in 2001 and only put 5,000 miles on it since then!! It's never been off-road!!!:D I've been looking for one of these for well over a year by now, and almost settled for an automatic last summer, that was the last time I'd seen a reg. cab ZR2!!!

I found EXACTLY what I was looking for. And a great deal on eBay to boot!! I put up $9000 us. Our dollar spiked one day last week and I got that for $10,420. No shit!! In all the places I was watching for trucks the same one would be $22-$27,000 here. Gas was expensive, but so what?? I just seen america from side to side, in a truck that was all I was wishing for and then some with the milage where it's at!!

I'm just hopin' for co-operative weather and super co-operative fish on the end of my fly rod all this year!!![36] [36] [36] [36] [36] [36]

I heard Crappy Tire is the only place that does vehicle inspection for cars brought into Canada. Is that true ??

doubt it,dont even believe they do any full on vehicle certifications, especailly out of country, but could be wrong here, interesting comment.
Cant see them being able or entitled to certify all the japanese right hand drives coming in :confused0006:
