Been busy during the week trying to get the XJ finished before my Dad comes down, so haven't had time to post any pics.

By far the most people I have ever rode with. 14 quads in all. Hard to please every person, but I think they all had a good time. This trip was up to the Canex mines near Salmo, then took the old Stavepipe flume trail to Lost creek, down Lost to the an old switchback trail back up to the townsite of Jersey by Canex. Nice loop trail that we almost didn't make due to the snow in the bottom of Lost creek. Made it kind of cool making our own trail along the gasline in places to avoid the deep snow on the road! Then came to a small sluff that had happened really recently, bottomless mud on one side, but 5' to the left it was solid enough to cross.

you guys got some good trails up there and those old mine shafts are cool "safety is your business". Looks like alot of those guys are new to quadding they kinda stink at riding. Good pictures though.

Nothing new about dirtbiking in snow, he went everywhere we went, just followed one set of our tracks! And the sled was left there from a miner who is working in the mine. Broke the pull cord and the left trailing arm is pushed back into the tunnel. Hasn't bothered to pick it up yet I guess.

More from the same ride. Found some nice sheds, one half from an elk and both sides from a moose. He dropped them within a couple feet of each other! [36] Taxi would love them I bet!

Yah, a tad too big for me! Was hard to keep everybody moving. I will do it again, but it has to be an easy loop ride for everybody. There were quite a few of the guys who had no idea how to hop a 18" log laying across the trail, they were stacking small logs and rocks to ride over! Rookies!

And we walked inside the mine about 3000' or so, 3 of the guys quadded in about 1/2 mile I believe.

My hat is off to the dirtbiker, i just recently had to do a trek like that with a bunch of quadders and it was a tough hall in the snow.
