A bunch of us had a big fire under the power lines and watched others flog thier junk for us, some which included a clapped out Toy and "smokey", the black Toy with smoke coming out his snorkel last Sat at Church(KOTP Sat). Anyways, just finished clearing out a funky line through a small ravine, containing mud and water at the bottom. Going down the steep side and driving out the less steep side was the ticket. We called it "The Joint" as it seemed appropriate name at the time and it's only a couple hundred feet......."where's the strap?!!".:dontknow:

O.K. ....so it's not a "trail"!!! But it sure is a muddy little ravine to add to all the other lines up there..........What qualifies as a trail?!![36]

Still a good excuse to bet people that they WILL have trouble going through it.......:D

Man, you guys are suckers!!!! The slope is around 30 degrees on the not-steep side, mud that looks shallow and is not(!!) with the other slope steep and so greasy that NOBODY has made it up yet!! THESE pictures are deceptive. Better bring the power wheels to pull yer dads junk out!![36]

sbags

Westwood, follow Johnson (changes to Plateau Rd) to the end and go thru the open gate on the public road to the power lines. Go in the trail on the right.[cheers]

If my post sucks....then so do you!!
Hmmmmmm......well, you get out there with a saw.....some prunners.....a friend.....and some beer. When it looks like a line......people try it, thus becoming a trail, or in this case.....a line, in an area of many challanging lines.

One guy made it up.......at the end of a strap.

Around 4pm at the "trail" that is under the power lines, that is in fact a trail cuz trucks have driven it....blah, blah, blah......[36]

Well i watched a stock pathfinder go down and through it so it can't be that bad.:dontknow:

On the shallow side climb.

However, going up the steap part is not so easy. Doable yes. I tried, but there is a rock that suck you in, and then you can't get your rear tire over it with all the mud. then its game over.

With the mud now, to go up you are going to need 300 hp lockers front and rear, good tires and a heavy foot
