I had the Edlecrap taken off today.. and put a new q on it.. but its still missing through gears I thik either the tranny is pooched or the adjustment of the Detent cable unadjusted... not sure.. if you're setious bout flex and a good suspension, get some $$ and your coverals:

Front:
-52'' spring swap in the front, will move you axle 2'' forward.
- cut fenders for clearance
-larger shackles in the front, DIY4x make nice ones
- with 52'' swap, you'll need crossover

Rear:
4'' shackle flip( sky mfg, diy4x, ORD)
-zero rates

thats 4'' , you can fit 38's with 4'' lift with good fender trimming for a low COG and a capable rig.

Well Fuck .. The New Chev needs a new motor and a new Tranny... Go figure..On top of all the other bullshit I think this was the worst day of the year ..

So any one got a really good motor and a really good tranny and a really cheap price..... ????

You can go that route, ive heard of people doing it but no real experience with it myself. Can save a couple bucks, i didnt see zero rates on the NWF site?

make ur own.... a zero rate spring means there is no spring rate on it ie.. its not arched...and is only bout 3" long..

shitty luck man, im sure you'll find a motor and tranny, theres a lot out there

I would go with Diggers route and buy the BB
3/4 ton swap

and it goes from a very nice looking truck to fuckin sweet and a storey and memory with every dent and scratch[36]

the beauty of chevies is they are inexpensive and abundant, look around. You can get a decent t400 for 150-200 bucks, and an engine for 4-8 depending on mileage.

Mang I just bought a 85 Chevy Wrangler... Best thing I ever did but need stronger axles. Mines got 8in leafs all around with a 3in body and it flexes like no tomorrow. Dave a T&S suspension did a good jod on her. I'm runnin 38s with half ton axles I haven't had any problems except gettin stuck at stave and lettin a guy with the same truck yank me from the side and bend my front shakles which licks donkey nuts but oh well. Also got the 6.2 diesel in there not a great motor I hear but knarly on gas super cheap... Want flex go with leafs.. 8in leafs and 38s would probably do ya good! Cheers good luck on the beaut!
