Looks like I've got access to make a first post now so let's see if this works...

I like wheeling, camping, beer, hockey, video games. That's a lame introduction, it sounds like the starting of an AA meeting... Why am I here? To meet people that want to camp and have a good time and show me some new trails in the lower mainland. Last summer was really sucky for me, too much work, so I've got to make up for it this summer.

I probably will never get to 200 posts. That'll take one a week for four years! Besides, I'm more of an online lurker than a chit chatter. Unless I've been drinking, then I can ramble.

Hmm.. how to make this a good first post and earn a beer like I read in the rules... Well the posting a picture for new members link doesn't work in the sticky. Does being thorough earn a beer?

Currently I have a samurai and my wife has a TJ, but this autumn we're going to become parents so we'll probably need to get a Cherokee or something. It'll be a tough choice. I want the fuel economy of a samurai, power of a full size v8, the camping room of an RV, needs to be as popular as a TJ for plenty of parts availability, off road capabilities of a tube buggy, should cost next to nothing, and be suitable for a daily driver. What should we get?

get stuck

Hey man, get a FSJ

The FSJ and Scouts are pretty sweet, but they're rare enough these days I don't think I'll ever find what I'm looking for in one.

Cherokees seem to have the best combination of cheap, available, sufficient room inside, alright fuel economy and power (with the ability to stroke if needed). Maybe an old 4runner too.
