I need to remove the front cab mounts rubbers from their mounts. Anyone had any sucess with this? I don't think I've eve had one come off without cutting it off. I'ld like to reuse them as well on the new mounts.

I took my body lift out the other day and the bottom half of one bushing fell off after i got the bolt out and it looked like a steel bushing that connects both of them together. I thought they were permantly connected unless u cut them or they rusted away?

depending on the age of the ride..

they typically come out easiest with a sawzall

ah thats fun what it is is a steel sleeve that runs up the middle from the bottom and a smaller one from the top and to get them off you will need to find a long bolt same thread as the body mount thread it in and wale on it to break the sleevs apart they kinda mushroom when they tighten.
