DO NOT SILICONE THE WINDSHEILD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
silicone sealer is just about the worst thing you could put on the windshield seal if you do you will have to pull the windshield out and clean out the silicone and all the window sealer that is already there to reinstall the window when it leaks again in 2 weeks the silicone reacts with and will not seal with the urethane sealers that they use on windows and the new urethane will not stick with any silicone on the seal surface.
go to a parts store and get some windshield urethane comes in a calking tube like silicone.

Thanks Mikey

Will deal with the window at a later date I guess there are enough window guys on here to help out

Just checked my oil, and noticed the tube my dip stick goes into came out, tried to push it down by hitting it with a hammer but it's still lose, what would be the best way to stableize it??

[cheers]

isn't that where the bolt was missing last time ? that bolt may have held it on ?
