thats a hell of a lot o lift for retaining the ttb

those drop brakets look like a weak point....

i would have to agree be less work stuffing a d60 or even a d44 in there

as in sas

well first of all it wasnt alot of work new coils shocks and a couple drop brackets. this is my first truck that i have done a lift like this on so im still learning. i do plan to put a solid axel under it in the feture along with gears and lockers but the ttb will do me just fine for now. and daryl and i tryed to put that pic in jake but the stupid computer said it was an in valid file or some shit like that.

How much did that lift set you back? looks sweet but personaly I would have done a SAS, Jeffs Bronco Graveyard has a SAS suspension lift/swap kit now, only thing you have to get thats not included in the kit is, rear leafs and the D44/60.

build a crossmember between your radius arm brackets on the frame, they will bend your frame in after time if there is nothing to hold them from folding in

good idea cris ive never heard of that before ,guess ive been lucky

i actually had a frame bend really bad, and crack from those brackets, and i dont even think my brackets were as much drop as those

try finding axle shafts for a 1990 f-250 light duty? who the hell knows whats in the front end of my truck, but there was no parts for it ANYWHERE....ever did find the right one, ordered it new, and it was wrong...pain in the ass, had to just get a new slip yoke, and use my axle shaft again, which is scary, cuz its pounded pretty hard...but doestn matter anyore, cuz i drive a dodge hahah

its an f 150 with a ttb 44 and its not hard finding parts for it
the lift we piced together he bought the radius arms and ttb brackets from a guy for cheep i had the radius drop brackets and ordered all the other ods and ends for a real good price
he is not into it for very miuch at all he couldnt have even come close to sas'n it for what he got all the stuff for
its up in the air its gonna have my 37's on it and then he can start slowly gathering the parts for the sas

I can't comlain to much about my TTB other than you can never keep the alined. I beat the shit out of mine for a long time and the only thing that broke (well bent) way the short side tie rod. And most definatly do what Kris said about the brace and you might want to look into some longer arms you ride will be way better[cheers]

hey man truck looks good. hope that lift went in easy.. I was running 38.5's with that lift and drop it hard and the only problem I had with it was the bolts holding thoes brackets on came lose, so just keep making sure you check them every once and a while.. looks good tho, hope you enjoy it

oh ya did u just lower ur spring bucket 2", did u have to do anything with ur drop brackets because of the extra 2"

ya just lower your spring bucket 2 inches and you can do the alignment to correct for the extre 2 inches. you can also buy a coil spacer for f150s but i chose to drop the spring bucket and then i didnt have to mess with my shocks because they came down with the bucket
