I just had a head on colision and smached my car to fuck,

need wheels,

buddy has a 1990 4runner witht he V6 3.0L and auto tranny, has allot of miles 300+ but motor was recently redone.

anythign I should be looking for specificaly?

i know how to check for rust and body all that jazz, I'm more worried bout mecanicaly....

and what would you price it...I know hard to tell with no pics....but the body is in great shap no rust or dents.

and also I knoiw I am located accross the country....but you all are so well knoledgeable. I'm looking for a DD and maybe the odd dirt road only, nothign extreme liek you all do. :)

opinion is greatly appreciated, later on I'll show you pics of my car...lol

the lady who hit me, her car was less then 2 weeks old...less then a 1000km on it, her toyota matrix to my 1996 toyota coroola, got her gooder ;)

and no one was hurt well except for minor bruises, nothign major at all :)

THE ONLY THING U REALLY HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WITH THE 3.0 is the head gasket, sincce you said the motor was done make sure theres receipts other then that giver,

thanx, so keep an eye on the head gasket, how long will these last if driven well? i know open ended question..lol but you get my drift this one has over 300+ should i be worried bout tranny and transfer case?

I don;t think the 4 wheel drive was ever used from lookign at it, looks mint...

You always have to worry about the tranny when buying a vehicle wth that many kms, but if the regular maintance has been done, women driven and shit you shouldn't have a problem
