Howdy, ive been experimenting with some things on my 300 to give it a little more and cheap horsepower. Well i found it. Chevy 250-292 - I6 valve rockers, they are a 1.7:1 ratio versus the 300's 1.6:1 ratio. What do you get? An increase of .045" lift on the valve and quite a few more ponies. I tried it on mine and it feels like ive got an RV cam in there now.

I have a friend thats always messing with 300 sixs.
He splits the mainfoild and runs dual exhaust on his current one.
It sounds kinda ............................dunno how to describe it.
He says its given him a power boost.

yeppers, after the rocker switch, it gives out a more throaty growl too, add the EFI exhaust manis and you will have a few extra ponies as well

yeah, theres a bunch of options, problem with that is that if you do that, your gonna have to go with headers....darn

the exhaust manifolds are more of a cast header and not a log manifold design .
3 runners (for some reason this term strikes me as correct but not common?)into one 2inch and then two 2inch into one 3inch they work well .
