just wondering if 44's will rub on the body with a 6"susp lift and 3" body lift if people have pics of the 77-79 ford trucks or bronco that would help too :)

6 inch suspension and 3 inch body is enough. The old fords don't need much lift at all to clear 44's.

TRIM and move the trim if you got it .

Remember if you trim only go 3/4 of an inch from where you want the line then roll the metal so you have a mounting surface and it's not sharp for tires and arms[cheers]

A buddy of mine ran 38.5/16 on 15"rims on a 78 Bronco with a 3 inch body lift. Thats it. Rubbed the radius arms on full crank and tagged the fenders every now and then but nothing major. Alot less than my 78 Suburban I had with a 6 inch susp lift did. I f**ked the fenders right up!! Same size tires!

Hey Mark remember my truck has a 3" body lift and 38.5's. You really have to come out to the shop and see what is out here. Look at those pics of todds bronco when it was a bronco it cleared good. Oh by the way that was the body i was telling you about that i wanted to get when he did his body swap

this thread has a bunch http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=552011

but I like the simplicity of these ones the most but with a evolution joint instead of the double joint he used
