got cadillac?

id hate too drive my truck everyday..

I have zero respect for my bushbeasts. They are complete pieces of shit that have nothing but ground clearance and big tires going for them. I drive them into trees, jump them, etc etc. I would sooner eat rat poison than wash my bushbeast or do bodywork on it, as far as I'm concerned ugliness is a badge of honour. So obviously, no bushbeast of mine is daily driver material, although I tried anyways with my brown Dodge (that resulted in a VI). I have the Cherokee for wheeling, and a '95 Dakota for daily driver/work truck duties.

got my toy and my mazda couldn't drive the toy on the street almost a buggy really

02-21-2007, 08:42 PM
i'd love to be able to drive my toy as a daily again seing how i don't drive the #1 to work anymore but the piggers seem to harrass the hell out of me so i don't. it's pretty much become a trail & drags only in the spring to fall and mods in the winter. so i drive a company mini van as a daily and the wifes explorerer, once in a while i take it out to the trails. what she don't know won't hurt right?

my junk will be driven dialy and wheeled weekends. The fact that its driven mon-fri and beaten on on weekends shows how reliable it is.

Got the Dodge or the Civic for DD and Sue for weekend warrior[36]

02-21-2007, 09:13 PM
Mine was my daily driver until this summer, then gravity took over.

I drive my truck every day it isn't broken, and I do in fact take it offroad every once in a while too.

02-21-2007, 09:56 PM
I drove my last ford as my dd for a couple of years until I got the ole box 1 it was beat to shit loud and ugly and scary to drive but fun at the same time. Now with the new truck I have a mazda 323[36] as my dd the truck might be a little bit of a heat score but will still be street legal but don't want to risk it[cheers]

02-21-2007, 11:09 PM
i daily drive my junk...........welded diff and all[36]

dirt balls
02-22-2007, 07:05 AM
got the yj as a bush beater because she loves it so much and the grand that i use for camping and weekend fun stuff and a van as my dd[16]:p

02-22-2007, 11:05 AM
I take my DD in the bush sometimes, but don't do anything stupid with it. Bush truck is my 87 XJ, but I've gotta upgrade all the tie-rods and steering on it before it goes anywhere. Still have to put the trackbar on too.

the bush rig doubles as the daily as well and i have been through the VI crap to keep it that way

either way I drive it as hard on the street as I do in the bush.

not like it is a heat score Most local cops know me .

I have a 1979 Jimmy Full size, 35" tires for daily driver and 39.5" tires for race weekends and playing in the deep mud. I drive this truck every day to work and i play on weekends with the same truck. Nice days the roof comes off. I have a 1999 Tahoe shine mobile that just sits in the driveway because I would rather drive the Jimmy. No one cuts me of they are afraid I will hit them and they are right.

02-26-2007, 12:22 PM
I wont be daily driving the blazer - too many stories about VIs and shit going around these days. I'll make it as legit as possible within reason, but i'll be driving my turbo Sprint around - let it take the 'street abuse' and not my tires (and fuel budget).

02-27-2007, 05:23 PM
I would get arrested for driving my bush buggy on the road. [36] I use my stang or my f150 for getting back n force to work.:D

02-27-2007, 06:24 PM
I drive my lincoln locked junk everyday and beat on it every weekend. I think the cops leave it alone because its kind of a classic, but if it gets any bigger I may need to invest in a second vehicle.

03-04-2007, 11:29 AM
trying to build mine dual purpose but i think its going to be a bush pig only tire to fender width is way past not being legal its ok though got an f450 4x4 for my dd

03-05-2007, 12:14 AM
the "bushtruck" does get driven on the road but not alot due to the 4-5 mpg, spool, 44's and the grannys that crash into other people checkin it out...lol

03-11-2007, 06:54 PM
Ill drive the Bronco anywhere there isnt a freeway lol, boggers and the need for new ball joints make it a hand full and the fact i refuse to put money into the ttb since its gettin sas'd when im finished school

I drive my 4runner in the bush and rainy days. Or if I don't feel like sitting that high I use my CRX. If I don't feel like being cooped up in a vehicle I take my KZ400 out. If I want to go really fast I take my Katana out. If I want a nice, good looking, fast, comfortable drive I take out my old beamer. Hey in the end the guy with the most toys WINS.:)

03-17-2007, 03:26 PM
My Daily driver is the Durango and I still want to keep it road legal, now depending how much i break it 4x4ing depends if I buy another car as a daily driver or if I get something else to 4x4 in instead of the Durango.

03-17-2007, 07:30 PM
i would get a vi first time a cop even took a look out the corner of there eye at it lol

03-17-2007, 11:25 PM
i have 2 trucks one(2000 ford f -150 35s lots of custom junk) suppose to be my daily but i tend to do the longer exploring trips with it and save the fun, carnage, rock crawling ,mud bashing ,bodydammage causing fun for the other truck (1980 yota 37swampers) so they both get used and trust me my daily has lots of dents scratches and body dammage from over the years i have owned it and decided to go wheelin thinkn ill just take it easy today!! (that never happens)

03-29-2007, 03:00 PM

04-01-2007, 09:00 AM
