Somehow destroyed my hub assembly last week. Mushed springs, smashed gears, bearings everywhere.[j] I just pulled it all apart yesterday. The smaller bearing race actually welded itself to the spindle. So i cleaned it up lots and grinfded left over metal off (not perfect!) Will i be able to use this not perfect spindle? Does any one have a hub assembly for sale? How much to upgrade and can i just upgrade one side?

CLEAN UP THE SPINDLE WITH SHOP CLOTH so the high spots are gone and the bearing slides over it nicely but not loosely. you will be fine.
sounds like you havent had it apart in a while. or fresh grease and a tighten???
