View Full Version : What FE Engine?

Hey guys i gotta ask a stupid question. I got a 1976 f-250 with a 390 i think.
Reason im confused is the block has a 352 casting number on the left side of the block just below the head. I bought a starter for it it fits and its designed to fit FE. But if im right ford fe's came in like five different sizes 352? 390 410 428. I tried looking under the disributor pinch plate but the barcode was removed. Any Ideas muchly apreciated'' besides pulling heads and measuring )

I don't know if all, but a lot of fe engines were cast 352, regardless of size. Lets see if I can remember the sizes,, 352, 360, 390, 410, 427, 428

if its stock its a 360. Since its in the belly of an old beast it could be any FE...you guys forgot the 332 FE also.
