Over his LONG weekend, Mark (Dirtballs) was finally able to put in his lift kit in the Cherokee. How long has he been talking about this for now? Here are some pics of the parts before he installed them, along with a picture of how the jeep looked before, and some pics of how it looks now. In Pic #6 it shows a huge stick that was wedged underneath his jeep...it was so big, I thought it was part of the jeep when he showed it to me! Well, I think it looks really awesome now, even though its a BIT bigger than Mark led on that it was going to be. Needless to say, he better get me a step ladder so that I can get in the front seat!

Funny how sometimes guys show off there lift and it doesn't look that big in pics. Then when I saw the garbage can in there, i was going holy fuck, that's big.

Very nice! [36] [36]

I may not be that short, but try lugging a prego belly with you...makes it a little difficult! I'll bug him about the yj though, the quicker he gets that fixed, the less chance he has to break the cherokee!

thanks guys im happy with how its turning out the lift is the R/E 4.5'' super flex with 2'' spacers worked really good before i filled it up with water and half broke one of my control arms brackets off:dontknow: this weekend i still got to go take a look at it so there probably more[27]

was it the control arm bracket that you mount the bracket from the kit on for the trac bar? If so, i've done the same thing a few times, so far the only ways i've heard to fix it were gausset it really good, or you can go with an adjustable track bar. I ordered the adjustable track bar and have not have a problem with it yet.

Its a really common problem because it puts too much stress on the bracket

i put a small t/c drop that came with the kit and no problems yet i think it makes a big difference if your unlucky enough to have a CV front drive shaft tho. hey ken its my lower front left where it meets the axle but for the rear i am thinking about the adjustable track bar thanks but once i fix her up we should go wheeling together[cheers]
