Torque for the 4 carb-to-manifold bolts? Manual says and an inch pound reading that I believe is under about 20 foot pounds or less. I did it without a torque wrench. Just held the head of the ratchet in my hand and made the bolts little-bit tighter than snug. And to convert inch pounds into foot-pounds just divide the inch pounds by 12?

sounds rite.

you should be able to feel when it's tight enough anyhow.

20ft/lbs would be way too tight, will warp the top of the carb and cause leaks.

I do them like you said, grip the ratchet over the socket and good and snug. They don't need much.

not to tight, if it's an alum intake. Can strip studs/bolts in a hurry
