After numerous hours and skipping class to work in the autoshop we completed his body lift without too many problems.. the gas tank extension didnt work so we had to fab our own and the steering extension was a pain in the ass.. all in all was a good learning experience and gave him a good 3 inches of clearence.. cheers [cheers]

You can say that about a body lift but you can't say the same for a suspension kit have yet to find a suspension kit that gives you exactly what they advertise some give you more some give you less and some it depends whether you measure frt or rear.

Got any pics of the steering extension? I'll probably have to do something with mine, it's a little snug. Fucking body lift anyways.

there is some pics of the steering extension but its kit so if u dont buy the kit i suggest just cutting the shaft and welding in your own ,my buddy did that with the same model.

Probably just grab a chunk of steel and drill four holes in it and bolt it on the end of the column up against the rag joint, give it half an inch or so.

Damm....they never had an autoshop when i was in school. The closest we got was a drill press.

ya then they will pull it off the road for for free and u get to pay to have it back

never weld any steering component espcially the steerin column

i will be sure to stay clear of your ride if that is the work u suggest.....[16]

No i didnt do that lol . What i ment to say is that I bought the kit if you no anything about the kit you get a c and c extension that goes on the u joint and it is splinned. now my friend that did his , did not buy the kit so he welded in his own but cutting the shaft and to tell you the truth its way less hastle and he has wheeled it pretty hard and it hasn't broken,

So anyway works realy haha drama
