hey i gotta 72 3/4 ton with an 8 inch lift, wanna change the rear supension set up cause its sittin a little low, where do you recommend to get a shackle flip i was kinda thinkin orderin it right from sky manufacturing, and leaf springs? also thinkin of goin to 4" lift 56" rears, will this screw my wheel base or drive shaft if i just change the locatoin of the rear hangers, im pretty sure a shackle flip pushes the rear diff forward the way it drops the springs down

Wheelbase barely changes with a shackle flip. The 56" rears are only longer on the backside.
A shackle flip will change the pinion angle though - rotates it up. Most lift blocks have an angle built in to them, so some guys just turn them around. Otherwise you need to shim the pinion down, re-weld the perches, or go to a CV rear shaft if the angle is pretty extreme.

i've always liked the diy4x4 shackle flips
sky-mfg, diy4x4, ord and BCC all make shackle flips.

73-87 1-ton shackle flips should work on 67-72.
They both use the narrower ~40" spring spacing.

yah spring hangers for a 1/2 or 3/4 ton for a 73-87 have a larger offset from the frame
