Dana 44 or Dana60, price depends on what you can do and what you have to pay to have done. I would guess $2000 and up to have it done.

easiest thing to do is get a hp d44 out of a 73-79 f150 or78-79 bronco and use that. get everthing from the donor truck steering, panhard bar radius arms ect and you wont need to do much fab work

it depends on how much you can get the sas stuff for you can get a complete TTB lift for you ford (6"er) with shocks and everything for around $1500 for a cheaper one which still takes a beating

the dana 44 swap isn't bad I did it on mine, just need to fab up the trac bar and maybe extend or shorten some of the steering from the dana 44 other then that pretty simple

I did the d44 sas in my 80 f150 cost a little more than a factory lift, but I had alot of custom shit done - keep it simple should be cheaper, now have a d60. Way better than ttb - still have the hp d44 if your lookin for one [cheers]
