Ive never owned a jeep at all
Im looken at this 85 Grand Wagoneer

Needs a good home. Fullsize 4 door Jeep with a 360V8. All power options. with A/C. Everything in working order. Brand new all-terrain 31" x 10.5" Tires.

its got a couple exhaust leaks ... other than that it seems aright
nething i should know about these ?

things youd do if you bought it ?

what are they worth ?

i was buyin this as something to drive as i work on my truck but it kinda looks like it could be a cool rig
i hate the wood paneling tho... easiest way to disguise it prolly paint it ?

thanks for the help [cheers]

Check the frame for rust especially drivers side in frt of rear axle where gas tank skid plate is very bad for rotting

Man, wood panelling if fucking awesome!!! Chop your nuts off and never touch alcohol again if you plan to get rid of it...

Those things are SUA up front, easy to get 4+" with blocks in the back and SOA up front. Want more, do springs on top of that. Keep an eye on the front driveshaft though, I've got about 6" and my front driveshaft angle is pretty much maxed. Any more lift and it's time for double U-joints. With hacked front fenders it has apparently cleared 38's, and it clears my 36's easily.

haha... the more i look at it the more i think that wood look is kinda hilarious... its gunna take a bit but ill prolly keep it..i need a surf board

i probably will lift it once my fords running again... do i need to change my steering set up tho ?
and what is this bolt pattern.. and what else fits it then ?

I have no idea what rims fit. But those stockers look sweet anyway, use them. The steering, probably just a dropped steering arm, I don't have one...I should...but that's about all you'd need.

nice rig, i bought a 81waggy outa westbank a month or 2 ago, great truck. rides nice.

Same bolt pattern as chev 1/2 tonne 4x4 or yota nissan ect. keep an eye on back spacing though steering nuckels are close to the wheels. i have 33's on 12 inch black wheels for mine.. but i figured a used set of esclade rims would be pretty sweet.
