The lakes here havent frozen over good enoguh in 7 years. I used to ice race my ATV on Swan Lake. These guys are mostly from the USA.

Very short races , like 4 laps and 8 for the main event.

The pocket bikes and bar stools were a hoot.

damn that looks weird racing inside, i watched a couple races in kamloops on the lake, its pretty cool, harsh crashes though

wow those are cool. i never would have thought of doing that. but then again i would probably be on my butt then actually upright. i think i'll stick to 4 wheels on the ice like the atv's. :)

I'm pretty sure they have modified tires - I mean, like..They take slicks, drill holes in them and throw in bolts.

looks like a cool event[cheers] .poor iceman would have to scrape it half dozen times then flood the piss out of it just to get the ruts filled,and im sure they went with alot of water to raise temp at surface to get rid of the visible rut lines.;)
