83 f250 heater core removal???
anybody have a site that shows all the bolts and everything i have to remove ? any shortCUTs?

Take out the glove box and there's a cover right behind it. pull the cover and core should slide out.
should be an easy job, no computer shit in the way! dose it have ac?

how many bolts? seems as though it is stuck:mad0217:
check the firewall their may be bolts through that side as well, also they usualy seal them on with some stuff thats like windsheild glue?

If you have A/C then pull the glovebox & the cover , then the core comes out in the cab.
If you don't have air, you must pull the whole heater assembly out in the engine bay. The worst 2 bolts are on the bottom. I always remove the screws at the back of the plastic inner fender, bend it out of the way & get at the bottom bolts.
Make sure you get the correct core, the High Output heaters have a larger core.

Got it out [cheers] whoever replaced it before (with a second hand one from a wrecker and it looks like it has been leaking for a long time before it blew:mad: )used sealant and used nut and bolt so the heads of the bolt spun (I broke one small part ) the heater says high output .
