Finally went and got my bronco
87 fs eb bronco equipped with period correct redneck bling lund visor
5.0l auto manual shift t-case and hubs this will be my third bronco but the tranny needs some work the fluid looks like it's got water in it and it's real sloppy and slow to engage

All this wonderfullness for a paltry 100 bucks

So once I change the t-fluid if that don't rectify the problem I'll be considering a standard swap so what tranny should I be lookin for?

I'm keepin the top on it I already got a truck with no top but once I got the tranny solved I'm gonna mount up my winch/bumper cut out all the fenders and mount up my spare 36's
Then beat the snot out of it

87 would probably be a Borg Warner Tcase.

I have one in a F150 out back if you find you need it. Its a lever shift though.

probaly has the mazda 5spd in it which is a shit tranny. Try to find a zf tranny out of a 1ton to swap in. Grab the crossmember to as well.

3/4t got zfs as well, not sure about the light duty ones with the SF10.25 and D44, but the FF10.25" and D50 ones will for sure have a zf. The mazda ones do better then they are given credit for. Like everyone has to have a D60 and a 44 isnt enough type deal...

Sweet score, how crusty is it?

1988 F150, towing package (AOD I think; 1, 2, OD on dash) BW T case, TTB front and a rear axle that looks like a dana. Sterling mabye? To the best of my knowlage, everything is good but I never drove the truck, just ripped the engine out for my bronco.

epic3

No water
drunk dark diagnosis and wrong dipstick led me to believe the tranny fluid was bad In fact it was just real black old oil from the engine and the tranny was dry all leaked out
