Today when i was stuck in the ditch, the tool hooked the strap to the front tie rod and bent it when pulling me from the ditch. Both tires are pointed / \ so its undrivable.
How do I remove this tie rod? This is my winter beater/bush buggy so the alignment dosnt need to be perfect... Just use a balljoint puller on iether and and it'll come off? How do I put the new one on...?

If they're seized as bad as mine, you'll need more than a BFH.
Pickle fork or ball-joint puller should work fine.

Use 2 hammers though, use a bigger one to back it up ...like a sledgehammer.
if no worky then u need a puller or a fork.

usually a few good whacks with a BFH does the trick........just hit it like it owes you money!!

Just imagine the face of the idiot who towed you off of your tie rod and it'll get off. Maybe throw a grade 8 nut on it first so you don't fuck the threads up too bad.
