I have a 93 F-150 and im planing to put a 6 inch lift on it. My buddys have told me that i have to extend the drive shafts and make a new cross member that holds up the tranny. Is what i have to do? is there anything else?

I have 96 with 12" lift and I only double carded the rear shaft and it works great. I also flanged the transfer case and put a slip yoke on the rear of the shaft for better travel. Not sure why they said you have to make a new cross member???

you could probably get away with it, I never did when I put the lift in.. only when I changed to the 9inch
