Well got something done today, still have to weld them up completely and paint them.

Made some 1/4 x 3 x 4 angle for rockguards, bolted them on with tapered head 3/8 bolts.

Built some extensions, just tacked them on for now, used pipe to get them out a bit.

Just tacked in place they lift the jeep off the ground so once it's welded should be fairly strong.

Sorry the pictures are a little blurry, different camera guess it needs a cleaning. [15]

Baby steps......:) [cheers]

Looks good Joe. You should try and tie them in between a couple of the body bushings and the body it will help to keep them from wanting to twist the rocker when you put wieght on the slider.[36] [cheers]

Thanks guys....just big washers, body washers on the sides but quite a few bolts holding them on. Yeah Mikey I was thinking of that, I got some round stock nylon 4 ", was going to fit between the bottoms and the floor, bolt them in, probably 3 per side, should be okay ya think?[cheers]

I thought about that Walt and may add a couple there but I was thinking I might run some pipe from the skidplates up around the fenders too...if I can learn how to bend pipe. [27] Would eliminate that problem and the tires out too far thing too. Thanks. [cheers]
