Ive had to pull my HS9500i apart and fix\replace parts 4 times now, and it baffles me that the motor side is not sealed or more well protected from the elements. You pull it apart and its full of corrosion and rust. And that stupid brush assembly which is soooo well made.......out of plastic. Its disintagrated and crumbled into pieces twice now.......whine whine whine whine

could a motor guy reattch a magnet? or some are srewed on

my Ramsey looked kinda like that , I cleaned in all up an its fine but I guess none of them are sealed which seems pretty stupid
I just greased up my ends to try an keep the water out

apparently , there are some issues with the selenoids on these whinches , I guess I'll see .

The old one CAN be fixed , but it was more $$$ then this whole winch ... I also priced out a replacement motor .. it was $380.00 . Then I'm still left with the old cable , rust , ect....
