Is there a difference between a 14 bolt axle out of a 2X4 or a 4X4 truck from '90s ?
are they same width and interchangeable ?

3 different types full float 8 lug semi float8 lug and the old 14 bolt with the removable 3rd also semifloat using 6 lug axles...

more than likley a 2wd would be semifloat as wellas a lot o oem 4x4...
given the choice go for the 14bolt fullfloat.

Overall width is different between the 6-lug versions. The 8-lug axles don't change between 4wd or 2wd.

Go into Pirate 4x4 and go to tech and look at the 14 bolt bible everything you ever need to know about the 14 bolt there
