I took a sick day at work and headed up to the 2nd pump at seymour yesterday. I couldn't find anybody to go with and I didn't want to waste such a beautiful day at work, so I went solo. It was one of the best days I've had up there, tonnes of fresh snow and blue skies!!! It was really warm in the morning, I was in just a T-shirt. By the time I reached the 2nd pump, the thermometer read -15c. There was about 15 to 20 people out there through the day so I had fresh tracks all day. Here's the pics...

No Work on the city booter yet. That's where the pics of the birds were taken. I was hoping there would be something there that I could build up a bit and hit... but nothing. I've never seen the city booter without tracks on it before, I guess it is too early. It would have been nice to huck myself on that, but I didn't feel like shovelling snow for an hour plus work on the ride in.

I tried to get somebody from here to come up with me here http://www.funinbc.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72838 I'll post next time I'm going up or PM you. If there's fresh snow and sunny skies I will most likely be on the hills. The only mountain I've hiked in the winter is Seymour. I don't have anybody else to do much exploring with so I stick to what I know and I know is safe. Right now I just hike up with my snowshoes and carry my board on my backpack. I'd like to get a split board or some telemark skis this winter.

lol, I'm pretty shure my boss doesn't come to this site. I have to use my sick days by the end of the year because they do not carry over. They all know where I went anyways.
There weren't any jumps back there like there usually are. I dropped off a bunch of snow drifts and a cliff, wich was good enough for me yesterday. I'm not gonna go hardcore when I'm back there by myself.

Sorry, can't do Friday. I only take days off work if the conditions are perfect (like on Tuesday) I'm going to Whistler on Sunday if somebody wants to meet at the Roundhouse or Rendevous at lunch time and go for a few runs.
