View Full Version : Reverse light switch?

11-23-2006, 01:42 PM
So all of my reverse lights quit working on my F150 and before i run something over i think maybe i should fix it...thought maybe the fuse was gone... but its not and i highly doubt they all went out... im thinkin it may be whatever it is in the steering column that triggers them when you put in R?... or is in on the tranny itself?

any other suggestions on how to fix it?

dude you young you never drove a stick on the column

three on the tree rocks[36]

either way u post a valid question provide details..... location is different on most applications....

some are linkage accuated some are shift rail accuated

the best and most convient is to wire in a switch and have the user operate it...

do away with one more oem problem on slush box's[cheers]

I could be wrong but i believe the b/u light has to come on automatically when you put it in reverse to pass a vi. Not that i would care m'self.
