i just bought a truck a few days ago. my first chevy which is funny because i ahve been a mechanic there for 4 years but always loved yotas. anyways got a deal i couldnt refuse $1500 for a 91 chev 4x4. it has headers, shift kit, deap sump pan, eaton locker, throttle body spacer, and SIDE DUMPS lol. oh and 420,000 km's but runs and looks great for its age. plus it was owned by a fellow co worker who is also a mechanic so its been looked after.

[stupid] and weld soem plates back over those holes in ur frame.....the last thing a chevy needs is more holes in its frame....

aw come on the holes are fine i cant afford a solid axle front but it would be nice but whats the point no matter what you do to a chevy it will never wheel as good as a yota [15] [15] [15] fuck 90 bucks to fill it up that hurts

Pray ya never ever EVER get pulled over by a DOT cop for those side pipes they'll yank your truck off the road faster than you can pull the keys out of the ignition for the holes in the frame to make way for those "cool" side pipes

im not all that worried about it it just had an inspection and frame structual intergrity test and passed so if i do get pulled over for the "cool" side pipes oh well and if they do pull it off the road oh well it will make an excellent bush truck and im not losing anything for that price

90 bux? thats cheap yo... try 94 octane with a 34 gallon tank....150-170 depending on gas prices....[15] [15]

theres no replacement for displacement, ie gas prices dont mater wen u got horse power!

Whoa, that hole in the frame is pretty frickin sketchy...but whatever floats your boat, I guess. I feel iffy drilling holes in frames to mount bumpers, let alone cutting huge holes for exhaust. I'd rather put a body lift on it and bend the exhaust over the frame. And yeah, it's great to drive a V8 when it's time to fill up again.
