ya it held up great but i couldnt keep it alighned because i had dropped the coils 2 inches. ther's a reason they only make an 8 inch ttb lift i guess.

got my 79 steering knuckles backing plates caliper brackets and rotors last night. drove to rock creek with the cutting torches and cut a perfectly good hp44 up for them hahahaha. threw away the rotors calipers and break hubs for all new stuff..I put 4 new balljoints wheel bearings spindle repair kits calipers rotors taperd the tie rods to the top side of the knuckle and i had to order 2 new break hubs because the the wheel bearing rase seats where worn to the point where the race's just fell in and slopped around... those fuckers are pricey.

hopeing to have this thing driveing on sunday night. i will have pics of the whole tear down and build up to share with you all too

wish me luck

well while everyone was having fun in the snow on the toy run i was tearing my truck apart
I have alot left to do and alot of fine tuneing
i am 6"s higher in the front than i was before so I think i will drop it a few to elimanate some of the harsh angles rather than lifting the back up again. i still have to put the drop radius arm brackets in so that will help too

youngun

looks good, did you use the same springs from the TTB? That will make it ride higher and might cause you to rupture a kidney
