Engine: Cummins Diesel NHC 250 ( 880 C.I )

Torque: 658 Ft.-lbs. @ 1500 RPM

Transmission: Spicer 5 Speed Manual (Model 6453)

Transfer Case: Rockwell 2 Speed (Model T138)

Front Axle Assy: Rockwell # FM 240HXI Series, 18,000 lbs. Ratio 6:44

Rear Axle Assy: Rockwell # M240 HX4 Series, 44,000 lbs. Tandem Ratio 6:44

Power Steering: Ross HP 70 Series

Tire Size: 14:00 X 20 or optional 11:00 X 20 (mine are 16x20...53")

Wheelbase: 215 inches.

Brakes: Bendex, Air over Hydraulic

Winch: Front: PTO, 20,000 lbs Rear: Hydraulic, 20,000 lbs.

Frame: Double Frame, C/W Rear Pintle Hook for trailer towing

GVW: 37 200 lbs ( acually good for about 80 000) but you know DOT

Approach angle: 40 degrees ( even with mother of all bumpers)

Departure angle 30 degrees

100 PSI on board air ( stubbed out and very front of truck and very back)

.....no heater

All i can remember for now...

Future plans

- have to bring the front tires in 1.5 Inches on either side ( to wide for highway)

- Gravel dumping box ( same PTO that drives the winch will drive the hydro pump )

- Pimpin air ride seats out of some ol big rig

- Unfortunately have to drop the front bumper down about 7 inches and the headlights down about 2 feet DOT

-Right now shes got a soft top and rear of cab, frickin cool... but well be replacing it with a fiberglass or aluminum removable top..
- slappin a fat turbo on the cummins

all in all.. gaurantee this is going the be the biggest baddest most capable convertable

dump truck in kelowna.. what other dump truck do you take wheelin?

Oh and price.. truck was 12,900 + freight charge + super single tires + few other odds and ends came to 18000... in my mind thats a steal considering the tires and axles and motor that are int he thing... we need the six wheel drive.. so a normal dump truck wouldnt work anyway.. plus normal dump trucks are getting stuck right and left...

more pics to come..

So next to my computer is a stack of truck pics, some of mine, some of cool ones that I saw. On the top is a pic of your truck! I've got about 3 of em!! I wish I could post em,but the site says "page not found"!! I forgot that the air chuck was on the drivers fender(in red); it was my favorite of all his trucks, with the flatdeck bearing the oversize load on the front bumper a cool second. Did he still have the tow truck versions there when you bought yours? Anyways, thought it was funny that I'm reading your post while I've got pics of your ride a foot away from me!!(organizing my truck pics!).[cheers]

Aside from the fact it won't look as cool, have you considered a cab swap?

Since your working in the thing it may be far more comfortable than keeping the army cab....
