I have a 1970 fj55 landcruiser. It is very rough, so I was thinking of parting it out if I could use any of the stuff on my 4runner. It has one-ton diffs and 5.18 gears. It also has a chevy 350 for a motor. Would it be possible to put any of that stuff on my 4runner, or would it be a bit much for it? Thanks.

it depends. My mother has always been wanting me to move back. Right now her and my grandfather are trying to bribe me with a house. What the hell would I do in the flatlands. I would be bored to death now that I have lived here: FUN IN BC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

could put the axles and motor in if you want, but could be a bit much for what you wanna do with the runner...little excesive maybe

I think the LC rear axle is offset to one side? Unless the 1tons are different.
'normal' toyotas are centered in the rear.

Always broke

Just do a body swap it's way easier and then you will have the best of both worlds cheap easy to find body parts and strong stuff underneath[cheers]
