is there any trail gear dealer in canada. or is it cheaper to buy direct?

Ring & Pinion Set 4cyl 5.29, $139, 140135-1

139 bucks a diff thats cheap even if it ends up being $ 300 shipped

if I were u get the cryo'ed ones from longfield only $170us and the gearsw are Yukon, when the trail gear ones are not

cryo'ing isn't really necessary in a stock app. Birfs & axles will break long before a properly setup r&p.


it is cheaper to order direct IF you can ship it somewhere just across the boarder and go pick it up yourself. Otherwise Brokerage fees on the shipping across the boarder are huge. (probably $50-100 extra on top of the shipping costs you pay at TG)


Big Country Customs is a canadian dealer for trail gear. Send Taran a PM (the-t-man) or call the shop. I beleive he's got those same gears on special right now for $160ish canadian.

ya thats what i was thinking. my truck will be aussie locked rear and open front. with 5.29's and 35's. truck has 22r so it's no powerhouse. dont think i will be breaking axles or birfs.

trail gear is pretty much like "Marlin Crawler" they build a nd desine, parts for toyota's like springs gears.
