In your tracker you wont notice any difference in tire wear, I have 35 xterrrains on my samurai. The rear is locked and i havnt noticed any wear....its been a few months since i got them

the procomp tires are not very good. go for the MTR's or even BFG.

your not going to notice the difference in performance on a tracker so go with whatever you favour

Its so light any type of mud terrain will do well

I like the look of the x-terrains over mtrs..

its just too bad that all the poser f350s with chrome rims have em.

I've seen a few cut sidewalls of the mtrs. have yet to cut the sidewalls of my xterrains, lost a lug or too but no sidewall.

......My two choices for a lighter vehicle would porbably be between these two anyways, bfg mud terrains are boring looking

get the MTR'S better sidewall and they last for a good period of time

a few friends have had the pro comps and all said they suck in mud but ok for light wheelin and daily drivin.

i have had the bfg at's and worked ok for trails and light mud. swampers ended up being unreal for all ends of wheelin but that's my 0.02 c

once you use swampers youll think everything else is like a racing slick, unless you get boggers[cheers]

i would go with the MTR over the x terrains. but if your really considering the x terrains, why not MT Baja claws? the claws are better tire than x-terrains

really it kinda depends on what kind of wheeling you wanna do The Pro Comp X terrain is a rock tire not a mudder hence why they suck in the mud an the mtr is well a mtr ................In my opinion the Goodyears definatley wear faster

I got an f350 crew cab, diesel, and x-terrains. Got 20,000km on em and they just scrubbed down flat with the little sipes on the tops of the lugs. Theres tonnes of tread left, this is a huge heavy truck, and a lot of highway miles. I work in muddy places so I need tread, and Fountain tire had a 4 for 3 deal goin. $1000 for my old tires removed, and the new 285/75s (33/11.5) mounted an balanced. So no poser here.
Did one trip this summer Quesnel -> Grande Prairie and back loaded pulling a trailer, down to Kelowna the next day loaded with trailer, back to Quesnel now empty, then up to Granisle, then to Smithers and back to Quesnel. Extended periods of driving like 8-10 hours long, I could barely notice any difference in tread, and got one center lug with a little seperation from the body of the tire, about 1" long. One little wave in the sidewall on two of the tires. My truck has a bent leaf so it dog-tracks down the road too, which isnt good for wear. I would say as a tire designed for offroad, all the highway miles Ive put on mine, with a such a heavy truck they have been doing very well. Ive had them in the mud and they grab traction real nice, and in the snow they handle better than my old tires that the PO had put on.

A tire I would like to hear more about is Firestones new mudder.

I heard the only disadvantege of xterrain is in mud, other than that they are very good for road and off road
