Is it just me or is it a bit difficult to find a 4x4, regular cab, long or short box power wagon 74-79 in decent shape and reasonably priced?

i know of a 75 1 ton SRW power wagon w/ 60's front and rear, faltdeck with angled sides, 360, 4 spd. PTO winch. The truck used to be adually, but we removed the 2nd set of rear wheels... to clear that up. It has good metal he said, there is a bit of rust near the clutch, not through but "soft" he said. New fenders. Give him a call. Good luck

Oh yeah, its rigged right now to run off a jerry can which is underneath the hood. There is no fixed fuel system, but that is comes with a propane tank that will fit underneath where the spare goes. I asked him if it was a granny low, he wasent sure. Comes with new glass too, front and rear. Cheers

Haha that truck is fucking mint...it's weird, I get myself a bushbeast and all of a sudden all these other good potential bushbeasts show up.

And of course they're difficult to find, they all rusted away already.

1980 DODGE POWER WAGON, H.O, fresh 360 4 bbl, 4 spd, 4x4, on prpn, frnt diff, trans case reblt, body rough, no rust, hd bumper frnt & rear, must sell, a give away at, $975. Tel: 604‑793‑0340 >> See Details

thats out of the buysell.

troy, why not get a chevy? 73-87 chev's are a dime a dozen and are all straight axle'd factory, but if you are set on a ford there is a '79 bronc in the sell & swap.

yah man it sucks I just gave up on looking for a 78/79 f-250. their either garbage or too expensive. That truck you mentioned on buyandsell is a bit of a drive to get. But the price is right and might make up for itself.

HOLY SHIT same situation its so hard to find an "average" 78/799 ford f250,they are either way overpriced cause they are mint, or they are sitting in a field with mice living in them rusted out.[27] [27] [27] [27] i feel your pain[16]

I bought that 75 1 ton dually Power Wagon...it turned out to have a 60 front...posi 70 rear..203 case...pto..the guy wrecked the winch...and it sat for so long i've been replacing all bearings..the diffs had seeped water into them...got a new t case for it...did all the electrical...water pump alternator..put 33x12.5x16.5 BFG's on chrome crawler rims..a fair bit or work..and put it up for 2500 recently on island 4x4....check it out! I can always find a good deal on power wagons for anybody looking.[cheers]
