what size tires and what are the future plans

I like tires bigger then 40" tall so i would choose axles from a 1 ton ford for the dana 60 front and then find a d70 rear
if you are able to run tires no bigger then 35"s you can get away with 1/2 ton difs from a 78/9 for the front (I would swap 3/4 ton knuckles on to match a heavy duty rear end)

so just find a older 78/79 ford and take the axles............

oh and the bolt patterns are the same they where all 5x5.5, if your running 38's re-gear if its a 302 my old one barely moved my 36s

also www.fullsizebronco.com has great info on doing a sas

actually the best 1/2 ton axle is the 77 f-150, stronger tube setup then the 78/9s
worth a bunch more to jeep guys too

You could probably find a sterling 10.25 at pick a part, Where abouts in peachland do you live? From the pic it looks like your just off Turner Park, I could show you lots of trails between there and summerland this winter if ya want?
