My son and I decided to head up Norrish to start work on the trail we found last week. This is not the usual "rock crawl" type of run.... This looks to be a neat little trail through the woods. We found an old road bed buried beneath the trees of Norrish. This is the vid from our Trail

Hyenuf's trail (http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-9125484286158338318)

Here's how the rest of the day went.

We met up with these guys by the water treatment plant and they confirmed that logging is active up Norrish. Where we veer right at the plant.... They're logging up the left road. Yes U CAN.... you were right!!

Then we went to work on our trail. After slaving for a couple of hours and having some Bronco manifold Hotdogs, Tristan ( my son) and I were heading out when we figured... MEH.. let's see what's up this road!!! Thank god we did! We went in for about 35 mins and decided to turn around and head down. We missed something on the way up that presented it self going down...

VOILA!!

Now I know it's traditional for the first guy up a trail to name it... BUT seeing as there are TWO coming off the same point..... I figured if they aren't already named.... I was thinking...... FRIC and FRAC:D

This is FRIC! He's on the left side

This is about 50 ft up the trail Sorry bout the pic It goes under those logs and to the right

And this is FRAC... obviously on the right

Again I don't know if these are established trails of not..... they seemed kinda outta the way for most of the local "Rock Jocks" to stumble accross![f]

As we headed out.... we noticed this on the left side of the road.... Looked promising but it was getting dark and... we only had one truck!!:D

All in all a good day out

awesome vid. I like the father-son team, i need to drag my old man out to some of this stuff. Nice find, im guessing the reason why those large trees have fallen is because when they were clearing the road, they were too big to cut down into sections, so they chopped em down and moved them to the side.
