well, i've never heard of the uncanacon but just the fact that it ends in 'con makes me think its named after the rubicon. The rubicon is comenly know as THE 'CON

I towed my rig 13 hours one way to run it

Thanks.
I have 1 broken stud but it doesn't make any noise.

Fun in the usa.. lots of places but i think you all have more off road places here in BC. I've only got like 8 places in all of washington that are worth checking out.

You've got that many in the lower mainland
I just got to find them all[27]

Funny you say that. at least you know what it is.

The most common comments i get are "what is it?"
Or, Nice Toy.. that one gets me.. when did Toyota ever make a rig with the little triangle window.

I have full doors for it, and they have a big NISSAN decal on them. A guy asked me one day, what is it? I pointed to the NISSAN decal and just said, I don't know.

Sorry, it's more for Mud trucks or posers that like to pretend they wheel though. And it's always dark here, so make sure you have either rock lights, neon lights, or LED's ;)

Yes and no, there are lots of people around, except its getting to be the end of the season. I would not recommend going alone for the simple fact that if your rig isn't built to "specs" people will not like you to tag along. Its a long trail and if you break and hold up a bunch of people that you don't know. this can be agrevating. I can always hook you up with a friend of mine. He lives 1.5 hours from the 'con

Why is this intruder in the Toyota section? [f] I could mabey see ford..... but then again I wouldn't want to be there either [15] [15] [15]. You just have Toyota envy. [9] just guessing but 76-77 bronco D44 w/stock 3-link and 9" rear, wild horse 4" progressive rate coils front :D Nice set up! Use to have one w/same conversion, cool to see.

Toyota envy? Thats the funniest thing i've heard all week! Sombody must have been hitting the[31] a little too much.

My axles are. HPD44 From a 72F100. The outers are from a 78 bronco. and using 78 bronco axles shafts. Detroit wtih 5.38:1 in the front on a semi stock 3 link. Radius arm mounts have been modified to eliminate binding and i have a wristed radius arm. Custom tie rod flip and drag link.
the rear is a 9" on a custom designed / built long arm Trainagulated 4 link. Mini spooled 5.37:1 gears.

This thread started in another section. Some moderator or admistrator moved it to the toyota section.
toys are bad ass.. but not as bad ass as my pathfinder..[32] [36]

Oh ya. springs are Wild horse variable rate 5.5" front and 3.5" rear

Thanx mang. I might just take you up on that. I'm IFS but plenty of armour in the right spots, locked, and winched. Is it a scenic trail as well. Whats the camping like or are you not allowed to camp along the trail?

IFS toys can make it. it won't be easy though. Bring spare front axle shafts.
There are by-passes for most of the hard stuff but there are also a few that you don't have any choice but to go through.

check out. www.pirate4x4.com

there is lots of info on the con.

camping is allowed anywhere within 25' of the trail. Buck island is a lake about 3/4 of the way through and its a nice place to camp.

Beautiful scenery up there.
